How do I delete all my data?

Click the NoNoise logo in the top-left corner → Settings → Delete All Data. This will permanently remove all your habits, milestones, and completion history.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your Mac in the app's private container folder.

We never send your data to any servers. Everything stays on your device.

How do I backup my data?

Your NoNoise data is automatically included in:

  • Time Machine backups
  • iCloud backups (if enabled for macOS)

Can I use NoNoise on multiple Macs?

Yes! Install NoNoise on each Mac. However, data does not sync between devices - each Mac maintains its own local data.

What macOS version do I need?

NoNoise requires macOS 13.0 or later. It works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

How do I add a new habit?

Click on the Habits view → Click the "+" button at the bottom → Fill in the habit details → Save.

How do I add a milestone?

Click on the Timeline view → Click the "+" button at the bottom → Enter the date, title, and choose an emoji → Add Milestone.

The app isn't responding. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  • Quit and restart NoNoise (Cmd+Q)
  • Restart your Mac
  • If the problem persists, contact support with details about what you were doing when it happened
